Lorraine Rosenberg is the General Manager for the Board.
She has worked in a range of agricultural and research areas and has Biochemistry and Soil Conservation and Environmental Management qualifications. She has significant experience in supporting Aboriginal comuunities through the Aboriginal Integrated NRM Group and has been a member of South Australian State Parliament. Lorraine is the "first port of call" for all operational issues and her key responsiblities include include supporting Board members and ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Karan Smith is the Planning and Program Manager.
She is an Environmental Scientist and has previously worked in fire management, threatened flora, aquatic science and GIS. She is developing the Comprehensive NRM Plan and helping to develop and manage Investment Strategy projects. This includes keeping an overview, proving advice and assistance in project schedule development, collating project reports, reporting to the General Manager and Board and maintaining links between NRM projects, communities, project managers and other agencies.
Garry Ormsby is the Finance Manager and has been working in this area for the past 20 years.
He is responsible for the provision of high quality and comprehensive financial management and accounting services to the Board and this contributes to the efficient operation of the Board and the achievement of strategic goals and priorities.
Danielle Rosenberg was originally employed in May 2005 by the Aboriginal Lands Integrated Natural Resource Management Group as the Administration Officer, this role continued when the Alinytjara Wilurara NRM Board was created. Danielle is now the Executive Support Officer for the Board. Danielle is appreciative of the opportunity to work with Indigenous people and learn about culture, language and traditional caring for country practises.
Sophie Keen AW Scientific NRM Officer
Sophie is based at our Ceduna office, to support and work closely with the Yalata and MT communities on NRM projects. Sophie will coordinate projects and look at opportunities for new projetcs and partnerships.
Teresa Gurney NRM Project Officer
Teresa is alos based at our Ceduna office and she has been in the Coorabie area for 40 years. She has practical hands on experience in land management as she manages her own rural property and she has also worked at the local school.
